Timeline & Phases
Wks 1-3: sling 6 wks, passive supine elevation with opposite hand, passive ER to neutral, hand/wrist/elbow PREs, scapular strengthening, deltoid isometrics; Wks 3-6: advance PROM (elevation to tolerance, ER to 30°), sub-maximal IR/ER isometrics at wk 5, scapular PREs; Wks 6-9: Theraband IR/ER, deltoid isotonics, biceps PREs, RC isotonics, large muscle group PREs (pecs/lats), isokinetics IR/ER with eccentric emphasis; Wks 9-16: aggressive UE PREs, IR/ER velocity spectrum isokinetics, plyometrics for overhead athletes, throwing/racquet program; 16+ wks: functional exercises, isokinetics, plyometrics, sport-specific rehab
