- Key Restrictions
- No resisted shoulder abduction/flexion or elbow flexion/supination x 6 weeks; sling x 6 weeks; no contact sports until 6 months
- Timeline & Phases
- Phase I (1-7 days): pain control, sling, no resisted shoulder/elbow x 6 wks; Phase II (1-6 wks): sling, AROM/AAROM as tolerated; Phase III (6-9 wks): D/C sling, rotator cuff strengthening, push-up progression; Phase IV (9-12 wks): full ROM, increased resistance; Phase V (3-4 months): run 2 miles; Phase VI (4-6 months): return to all activities

- No resisted elbow flexion/supination x 6 weeks to protect tenodesis; no contact sports until 6 months
