- Key Restrictions
- No lifting/pushing/pulling/forceful gripping; short arm cast or thumb spica until week 6-8 per surgeon; no resistive strengthening, sustained gripping, or WB until after 12 weeks postop
- Timeline & Phases
- Phase 1 (0-2 wks): postop splint, elevation, finger AROM; Phase 2 (2-6 wks): short arm cast, dexterity tasks, thumb IP ROM; Phase 3 (6-12 wks): wrist 4-way AROM from week 6-8, light grip from week 8-10, progressive wrist strengthening from week 10; full ADLs at week 12

- For scapholunate instability; volar wrist vs. long arm elbow splint depending on surgeon; wrist orthosis progressive weaning from week 8-10
