Active flexion 0-45° with passive extension wks 2-4; brace locked in extension at night throughout; ROM to 0-90° wks 4-6 (extension still locked for WB); active extension added at wks 6-8 with WBAT 0-45°; WB motion 0-90° and stationary bike (no resistance) wks 8-10; D/C brace at wks 10-12

Timeline & Phases

Phase I (wks 2-10): wks 2-4: active flexion 0-45°/passive extension, WBAT in extension only, brace locked in extension at night; wks 4-6: ROM to 0-90°, continue WBAT in extension only; wks 6-8: active extension added, WBAT with brace 0-45°; wks 8-10: WB motion 0-90°, stationary bike no resistance | Phase II (wks 10-12+): D/C brace, progressive strengthening, gait normalization, proprioception, treadmill, pool, core
