FWB; therapy begins at 6 wks postop

Key Restrictions

Thumb spica splint between sessions from 6 wks (remove for shower only); avoid radial/ulnar deviation until 8-10 wks; strengthening at 10 wks if motion is adequate

Timeline & Phases

6 wks (A/PROM flex/ext, thumb spica between sessions), 8-10 wks (AROM deviation, dart-throwers motion), 10 wks (strengthening if motion adequate)
