NWB x6 weeks; hinged brace unlocked 0-90 deg x6 weeks; DC brace at 6 weeks; 90 deg flexion goal by wk 6; WB progression from wk 8 requires MD clearance; strength 80% uninvolved by wk 16; pool running wk 16; pass RTS test required
Timeline & Phases
4 phases: Phase I (wks 1-6, NWB, brace unlocked 0-90 deg, ROM to 90 deg by wk 6), Phase II (wks 6-12, TTWB then WB 25%/wk from wk 9 to FWB wk 12 with MD clearance), Phase III (12 wks-6 months, full ROM, strength 80% uninvolved, pool running wk 16 then treadmill), Phase IV (6-12 months, bilateral to SL plyometrics, sport-specific, RTS test)
