- No hip flex >90 deg; no hip IR or ADD beyond neutral; no combination of above motions x 6 wks; must use hip chair and abductor pillow for OOB; all precautions lifted at 6 wks unless specified by surgeon

- 5 phases: Phase I (0-1 wk, hospital), Phase II (1-3 wks, transitional), Phase III (3-6 wks, OP early), Phase IV (6-12 wks, OP intermediate), Phase V (3+ months, return to high level activity)
