Splint 2 wks then hinged brace 4 wks; no active elbow extension for 6 wks; shoulder flexion limited to 90 for 4 wks; no resisted elbow or shoulder extension for 12 wks; no UE weight bearing for 12 wks; no aggressive triceps stretching throughout
Timeline & Phases
Phase I (0-2 wks: splint + wrist/hand AROM) -> Phase II (2-6 wks: PROM, no active extension) -> Phase III (6-12 wks: AROM + shoulder strengthening, extension isometrics at wk 8) -> Phase IV (12-16 wks: CKC + isotonic triceps) -> Phase V (16+ wks: plyometrics + return to sport)
