ACL Reconstruction — with Meniscus Repair

Weight-Bearing
TDWB x 6 weeks for radial/root repairs; WBAT for all other meniscal repair types
Key Restrictions
0-90 degrees flexion for first 6 weeks; WB status depends on repair type (radial/root vs. other); D/C brace and advance to WBAT at week 6
Timeline & Phases
Phase I (1-6 wks): WB per repair type, 0-90 deg flexion, quad sets, CKC, stationary bike; Phase II (6-12 wks): D/C brace, WBAT, stair climbing, CKC progression, elliptical; Phase III (3-6 months): running, isokinetics, plyometrics, agility; Phase IV (6 months): return to practice; Phase V (8-9 months): full return to activity
