- Sling while sleeping 4 weeks; continuous sling weeks 0-2; no WB through surgical arm; no resisted IR or extension; cross body adduction restricted until 6 weeks; 5 lb lifting restriction until 12 weeks; Phase I ROM limits by week (90°/120° FF, 20°/30° ER)
- Timeline & Phases
- Phase I (0-4 wks): sling, strict ROM limits by week, no cross body adduction; Phase II (4-10 wks): gradual ROM to near full, gentle isometrics; Phase III (10-16 wks): full ROM by 12 wks, progressive strengthening, 80% strength; Phase IV (14-16+ wks): overhead strengthening, throwing program, RTS (<10% deficit UW UE progressive testing)
