Static extension splint between exercises and at night throughout; avoid excessive gripping/squeezing/pinching; avoid sudden jerking motions; avoid heavy housework/yardwork

Timeline & Phases

Phase I 1-3 days post-op (early mobilization/splint/AROM); Phase II 10-14 days (scar management after suture removal/desensitization); Phase III 4-8 wks (splint 1-2 hrs/day or at night/progressive putty/grip strengthening)

Notes

Minimally invasive fasciotomy (not fasciectomy); indicated for midline MP cord; surgeon counsels patient on recurrence risk; scar massage initiated 48 hrs after suture removal; silicone gel pads as indicated
