- No towel under knee; avoid painful activities; limit excessive walking initially; lead with non-surgical limb going up stairs, surgical limb going down

- 4 phases: Phase I (0-7 days), Phase II (day 8 - wk 2), Phase III (wks 3-4), Phase IV (wk 5+); includes return-to-run and agility/plyo programs
