- Passive shoulder rest 2 wks; sling 6 wks total; no pec major isometrics until wk 3 (shortened position only — avoid fully elongated position); bench press limited to 50% 1RM until 6 months post-op

- Phase I: 0-3 wks (sling, no shoulder ROM, elbow/wrist/hand OK); Phase II: 3-6 wks (passive ROM, gentle isometrics except pec major); Phase III: 6-12 wks (AROM, progressive strengthening, pec major isometrics starting shortened); Phase IV: 12-16+ wks (return to activity, bench press to 50% 1RM)
