- Sling 3-4 wks (6 wks if revision); no AROM wks 0-6; no shoulder extension beyond neutral or behind back for 12 wks; lateral approach: ER to neutral only until 4-6 wks; no lifting >6 lbs Phase III

- Phase I Day 1-6 wks (immediate post-surgical/PROM); Phase II 6-12 wks (AROM/early strengthening); Phase III 12+ wks (moderate strengthening); Phase IV 4+ months (HEP/function)
- Notes
- Clarify surgical approach (medial vs. lateral) before initiating rehab; medial approach is primary at Lahey; dislocation risk with combined IR+adduction+extension; expected elevation 80-140 deg depending on pre-op pathology
