Shoulder Arthroplasty — Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty

Sling in neutral rotation with abduction pillow (30-45 deg); sleep in sling; wean during day wks 4-6; D/C at wks 7-8
Key Restrictions
No AROM/AAROM wks 2-3; no PROM into IR wks 2-3; no reaching behind back (especially into IR) throughout; no lifting >coffee cup wks 4-8; no WB through hands; avoid shoulder hyperextension; no lifting >10lbs wks 9-11; no lifting >15lbs wks 12-16

Phase I (Wks 2-3 immediate), Phase II (Wks 4-6 intermediate), Phase III (Wks 7-8), Phase IV (Wks 9-11 transitional), Phase V (Wks 12-16 advanced strengthening)
