- 50% WB on operative leg with crutches/walker (foot flat, mimic normal gait); if regional block used, no WB for first 24-36 hrs; progress WB slowly after 2 wks as directed by PT toward FWB; crutch discontinuation typically 2-4 wks

- Brace worn 4 wks (except sleeping/CPM/prone/biking/showering/car) to prevent hyperflexion and abduction; CPM machine daily starting POD1 (4 hrs/day wk1 tapering to 1 hr/day wk4

- increase 5 deg/day as tolerated); Celecoxib 200mg daily x20 days to prevent heterotopic ossification (no other NSAIDs concurrently); no soaking in pool/bath until 4 wks; do not sit >30 min at a time
