Timeline & Phases
Wks 1-2: 50% PWB, brace locked 0°, hip flex limit 60° (no flex with knee extended), avoid active hamstring/hip ext — quad sets, ankle pumps, scar mob, STM along hamstring, upper body circuit, sciatic nerve gliding (not stretching); Wks 3-6: 50% PWB, brace locked 0°, hip flex 60°→90° by wk 6, continue avoiding hamstring stretch/active hamstring/hip ext — glut setting prone/supine, double leg bridge, side-lying hip abduction, calf raises; Wks 7-12: FWB, no brace, full ROM — progressive active hip/knee flexion, uninvolved stretching, double→single leg bridge, wall slides, clam shells, partial squats, step ups/downs, stationary bike (no running); Wks 13-16: FWB — gentle hamstring stretching, single leg CKC, eccentric→concentric hamstring progression, resisted step-ups, double leg deadlift, bridge on ball, walk progression (prepare to run); Wks 16-20: FWB — progressive hamstring stretching, single leg deadlifts, reverse lunges on sliders, kettle bell swings, walk→jog (no sprinting); Wks 20+: FWB — single leg jump, lateral bounding, progressive running/jumping after 22 wks, plyometrics, ladder drills, sprint progressions, RTS with MD clearance
