- Key Restrictions
- No lifting/pushing/pulling; no resistance strengthening until 6 weeks; cock-up wrist orthosis (WHO) in 30-40° extension full time until week 6; protect tendon repair throughout Phases 1-2
- Timeline & Phases
- Phase 1 (0-2 wks): long arm elbow/wrist splint; Phase 1b (2-4 wks): cock-up WHO 30-40°, elbow AROM; Phase 2 (4-6 wks): continue WHO, wrist/forearm AROM, radial nerve glides, scapular stabilization, imagery for RTS; Phase 3 (6-12 wks): wean orthosis, progressive wrist/forearm and grip strengthening, radial nerve glides, low-level RTS activities

- Radial nerve glides; scapular stabilization (prone horizontal ABD, full can, serratus wall slides); wrist orthosis at night for relative rest/positioning until Phase 3; low-level RTS activities in Phase 3 per symptoms
